Want to get rid of the start-up screen of clouds and the Windows logo?
A quick fix is to hit the Esc key, and the clouds will go away exposing all the scrolling information about your computer.
If you want to get rid of the clouds and logo for good, then you will need Tweak UI. Once installed, you will find Tweak UI in your control panel. Open it, choose the Boot tab, and you will see a box for Display splash screen while booting. If you uncheck this box, you will no longer have the fluffy clouds.
You can also do the same thing with an independent program called X-Setup.
If you want to replace the clouds with a design of your own, make a bit map
image at 320x400, and save it in your root directory (C:/) as logo.sys. This
will kick the Win logo out of the way, and all you need to do is restart to see
your logo. You may want to rename the old logo as logo2.sys or something like
that in case you decide to go back to the old way.
